The word I've chosen is qualtagh. You've got a week.

week

is that the same as a sennight?

it's actually more like a hebdomad.

Well, already I'm having serious concerns about our new hogmaster. A week is shorter than a sennight, we've been robbed.

What? by twelve hours? 'Splain yourself. I have my doubts about any of your existences, but you don't see me whining.

A sennight
A week

As I said, a week is shorter than a sennight.

jheem appears to be an existentialist. Come back Bishop Berkeley. All is forgiven, we found the money on the mantelpiece!

Oh, shorter. I see. I thought you wrote shorter.

Posted By: jheem Re: porcine washeteria - 04/05/04 12:21 PM
No, no, no. I am an adogmatic non-theist. I went to Berkeley, but I never lived in Bishop. I lived in Denio, and that was years before. The one-room schoolhouse was built from lumber milled from trees that never fell but which grew in Lakeview. £sd was not involved. Nor cosmonautical orange-flavored drink.

Is the hog coming out of the bath - or being thrown in the water?
