This was inspired by another thread elsewhere and forgive me (relative newbie that I am) if it's been covered already but do any of you enjoy mixed metaphors? What might be some of your favorites? One of mine is:

"No one hits a hole in one on their first time at bat."

Think it came from a "Dilbert" cartoon...
