This evening, I asked my huggy to toss me the small package of bubble wrap, so I could put it away. He did so, saying, "Here's your Bubba wrap". From there, it was a short step to "bubba rap", envisioning overalled footstompers wearing Myers Feed baseball caps, belting out songs about life on the farm...

I hope people will be "inspired" to post what they imagine bubba rap lyrics might be.

It's what we used to call the talking blues.

BUBBA RAP

Back in the 90's I was King of the Hill,
Some called me Bubba and some called me Bill,
Folks was so impressed they were eager to please,
Some with their checkbooks and some on their knees.
And some thought my wife was half of what I was,
But "Billery" don't make it, so don't go there cuz!
They tried to throw me out, but they really didn't see,
That no one really cared with a bull econoME!
And I knew they'd soon despair to be so damn Bubba-free!
To be so damn Bubba-free!
I said so damn Bubba-free!
Ain't gonna be no breeze
To be so damn Bubba-free!
You'll see! see! see!
But now this Bubba's free!
So hee! hee! hee!
Keep those bedrooms warm for me!
What a blast it's sure to be!--
First Man to Hillaree!
'Cause now this Bubba's free!
Yeah! free! free! free!
It's all for mee! mee! mee!

All I scatter is aches and pains.
I'm carbolic acid, and a poison face,
And I stand flat-footed in favor of crime and disgrace.
If I ever done a good deed -- I'm sorry of it.

Yes, dear Fadge, and we love you for it. [kissepoo]
