In case some of you-all want to try. I did poorly, as expected.
Etymologic!
Seven out of ten (including three lucky guesses).
I refuse to give my score least you all think me a braggart.
Nine - I missed the language of origin of "panda".
nine(9) out of ten. (blew the very last question, under heavy pressure : )
I did lousy on the first attempt, and a little better on a second game. It seemed more like etymology trivia with an emphasis on the quirky.
It's not the same every time, but I got 7/10 both times I've tried so far. AHD, however, disagrees with them on "hush puppy".
Ugh, I did very poorly also - 5 out of 10.
Beloved Max ~
I will place a double order for us at GetABiggerHat.com
It's fun, but variable - anything from 10 to 7 for me over 5 tries.
But er, spelling errors?!?!
What did palooka originally mean?
* An inferior or average boxer
* A Peasant or freeholder
* A sense of numbness
* A lamenation or complaint
On three different attempts, 7 right, 6 right, 8 right.
