Many years ago I collected a word which meant "one who collects quotations" (and since I do it went into one of my notebooks). I recall it as something like "pariomiographer" but know I haven't got it right. Does anyone know the correct term? Thanks!

A paroemia /puh REE mee uh/ is a proverb, an adage, a saying. By extension, a paroemiographer is a writer of such and a paroemiologist studies (collects?) them.

..."Sumer is ACUMEN in"...sort of! Welcome!

I KNEW Tsuwm would know the answer to that! Anu is one of those, too, he says on his home page.
