What exactly is a bubble mini skirt and how long has the expr been around

A bubble miniskirt is a shorter version of a bubble skirt. You can use Google's Image search to find many examples. The hem curls up under the skirt making a pouf.

Barbie came with a bubble skirt in 1959-1961 according to this eBay Guide http://reviews.ebay.com/The-VINTAGE-BARB...CAT:-1:SEARCH:2

And if it's no trouble, can you describe a bubble skirt, that is the predecessor of the mini

Now how about bat-wing blousons. This one must be obscure considering it gets only one Ghit

There are more hits than that... Try without the - and the 's'. Also try not exact phrase.

Batwing is a style of big floppy sleeve. A blouson is a loose top with a tighter waist such that the fabric above the waist can hang over fabric at the waist. A batwing blouson would be the combination of having big floppy sleeves on a waisted top.

There is also such a thing as blouson sleeves (loose with a cuff) but I think the cuff would automatically make them not batwing sleeves.
