The expr has other more abstruse and technical defs; so won't the Mitsubishi usage cause some confusion

Microprojection television is an industry-wide term refering to the class of projection televisions which do not use a CRT (red, blue, green beams of light are produced) but pass a beam of white light through a tiny colored "something" depending on the technology, e.g. DLP, LCD (not LCD displays but LCD projectors), Sony's SXRD, etc.
