TheTin Pan Alley author of these Lyrics, one Sammy Lerner, also penned the words to the Dietrich seduction, "Falling in Love Again." Or at least, the English version. Or at least, as far as I remember. And only insofar as a quick internet search let on. On being informed of this, a friend wondered why he'd never been told that, growing up. He'd have eaten all the spinach he could beg, borrow or steal.
