From one of Anu's citations today:

Still, it was an out-of-body experience to hear any boos for Pedro on Opening Night at Fenway Park.

Would anybody care to explain what sort of experience the writer (apparently a sports journalist) means? Heavenly? Strange? Shocking? Dreamlike?

So good to see the New York Yankees featured on a Daily Word, this, the opening month of baseball season, during yet another historic, record-setting run at the pennant! (and that the Red Sox are suffering the wrath of boo-ery by their own fans) Poetic justice!

Now don't all of you give me your Bronx cheers at once!

Nah, I'll just wait till the chorus dies down and then send you a prolonged bilabial fricative!!

a prolonged bilabial fricative

And when her prolonged bilabial fricative is done, I'll give you a prolonged voiced bilabial trill.
