I was wondering what other words (preferably in common use) derive from "Greek gelastes (laugher), from gelan (to laugh). A related word is agelast: someone who never laughs."

Does anyone out there know of any?

Thanks - abelleauc

agelast: someone who never laughs." Oh! A-gelast as in against. I've been reading it age-last. Speaking of oops.

Edit: welcome, Low A. I got this from a couple of Onelook searches:
Sorry, there are no words matching the pattern expand:gelast in the selected dictionaries.

At onelook, enter *gelast* or *gelas*
I get 27 matches and 106 matches respectively. * matches any number of letters (including 0).
