Balanoposthitis is the inflammation of the glans penis and the foreskin in uncircumsized males. The word was coined from two roots and an affix: Gk βαλανος (balanos; cf. L glans, glandis, Russian жёлудь (zhjolud') 'acorn; glans penis' fr. PIE *gwel- 'oak'), Gk ποσθη (posthe) 'membrum virile; prepuce', -itis ISV 'inflammation of'. May be caused by phimosis, or an abnormal tightness of the foreskin preventing retraction over the glans. Phimosis is from Gk φιμωσις (phimosis) 'muzzling, silencing; stopping up of an orifice; contraction of the prepuce' fr φιμος (phimos) 'muzzle'.

I think you just made every man on this board cross his legs.

And a few others to say "Put a muzzle on that, Bub."

Oh, dear; oh, my. And, I was gonna link to a medical article with pitchers and everything. (See; I do have some restraint.)

And, I was gonna link to a medical article with pitchers and everything.

That should be "pitchers n everthang," Buster.

Oh, and thanks for the restraint.

Perhaps the snugness of the restraint is causing the malady? Try something which breathes better than imitation leather.

imitation leather

Heavens to Naugahyde®!

Is that your vinyl answer? And shouldn't that be genuine imitation leather, Sparteye?

I've only heard it simplified to "balanitis," meaning glans and prepuce both, even from urologists. Unless of course they're just simplifying it for benefit of hoi polloi.

How about it? Any urologists lurking out there? What say you?

I meant to mention that a couple of historical characters are associated with phimosis: Louis XVI and Charles Guiteau (Garfield's assassin). Louis married Marie Antoinette when he was 15 and she 14. The marriage remained unconsummated until 7 years later owing to a genital deformation, usually considered phimosis, which was however corrected with minor surgery, perhaps circumcision.

How exactly do you assassinate a cartoon cat?

With Dr Ehrlich's magic bullet.

Candy,
here's an extreme example of 'flat' vs. 'threaded' - in flat mode this looks like a reply to the just previous post, whereas in threaded mode it can be seen that loosifer was actually replying to zmjezhd's original post.

In flat mode it always gives in small fonts, up in the grey bar of your actual post to whose post you are responding.

loosifer's post shows re: zmjezhd

'yes, but which one of his (in this case) five(5)?'

Usually that's obvious in the answer.

"How exactly do you assassinate a cartoon cat?"

"With Dr Ehrlich's magic bullet."

"Thanks for the info"

I don' thin' so, Bran. as I mentioned above, the threaded view shows him replying to the OP! (original post, that is.)

I don't see it, so it must be gone by now.

As these spam things keep coming up and apparently are removed
(thanks to whom took care of it) would it be asked too much if we make no further comment on them? It'irritating enough as it is.
