From the Latin stories about Hercules, what he washed out
of the stables was "stercus", and to "stercorate" is to
externalize that substance. Seems too useful a word to be
allowed to stay obsolete. How refined to be able to say
"Steer stercus!" to indicate contemptuous disbelief.
