This, of course, is nonsense. Kids learn first by hearing, then by reading.

On second thought: How did the kid pronounce "have"?

Hmmmmm....

We've got -havior, -hemoth, -lated, -loved, -holden,
-smirched....

Between you and me, be seems to be something to be rather than not to be.
