In the Email I get re animal safari there was a question about the Magpie Omens...can't find the post so here's a new one to answer in case nobody has the answer.
One for Sorrow
Two for Joy
Three to Marry
Four to Die
Five for Silver
Six for Gold
Seven or a secret never to be told.

Your High Priestess has to know these things! ;)

Even tho it applies to magpies only, I do not buy things with birds on them if there is just one or four birds shown.
But that's me.
Blessings, WOW

hmm, gotta say I've never heard that version either, wow - always the girl/boy, silver/gold one quoted by eta where I have heard it chanted.

OK, that is a Scots interpretation.
Mine was learned from my Irish Grandmother who also had The Gift.
Ya know the old wheeze :
The Irish gave the Scots the bagpipes as a joke and the Scots haven't caught on yet!
(ducking for cover)
