The Hitting Bahdom Blues

1) Oh you can vex me, you can tease me,
You can grate me like a cheese,
But don't you bullyrag me baby,
Don't you bullyrag me please,

Cho. Cause I'm an animal
Yes I'm an animal
Oh I'm an animal
And I'll always be encouraged by your love.

2) You can nettle me, disquiet me,
And irk me all night long
Pester, plague and worry me
I can take it cause I'm strong

Cho.

3) You can tantalize and bother me
And ruffle me all day,
Torment me and badger me,
I'll take it anyway.

Cho.

4) You can persecute and heckle me
Beset me till I'm old.
Harry and harass me,
I'll never treat you cold.

Cho.

5) If you annoy me or molest me
I'll handle it with ease
But don't you bullyrag me baby,
Don't you bullyrag me, please.

Cho.

i have just passed maverick in the hall of mirrors and though he is still not entirely himself (some think he never was) he is apparently feeling a lot better and is hoping to rejoin his friends soon and meanwhile passed on this mournful little ditty on the back of a shopping list because he thought it might make you laugh

ps when i asked him where i should post this he did tell me where I could stick it but i couldn’t find a thread called that so i hope this is ok here

A Cold Wind Coming

September now, revealed in swathes of mist and grey:
The silent tumble of a single leaf: it drops
As if to mark the calendar’s dying day,
And with it turns another month,
Another year,
Another life,
Another’s love.

Now stirs a wicked whisper of winter’s breath,
A bitter flicker of the flensing knife
As autumn bumbles, brushing and bruising
Through the hedgerow trees.

There is a cold and grating
Chill of grey upon the hills,
A grizzled harbinger of autumn gales
To threaten and tear the teeming
Tangle of late summer blooms.
Yesterday, another life,
They raised a kiss of laughing petals to the sun,
But now they spill their tiny splendour
In a careless rain of torn and trembling ruin on the earth:
There is a cold wind coming,
And no place to hide.
No place to hide.

Excellent word paintings, each in its own way, Faldage and Mav.... er, archie. I thank you both for sharing, here in the appropriate forum.
I hope whoever is in charge of Creative Contributions for Wordapalooza 2002 is taking note.

F, is this an invitation to spank you?

cause he's a cunning codepiece - ask him nicely, and he'll explain - when you get the email version you can see the code he used.

I know. It was a head code.

Posted By: wwh Re: Cold Bahdoms - 10/22/01 02:09 AM
I won't be unkind enough to ask if he had a code behind his codepiece.

My post didn't white out because, although it was intended to be read by all I wished it to have the appearance of a private aside to AnnaS.

ask him nicely, and he'll explain - when you get the email version...

[white]I can show her in PM, for that matter[/white]

Consuelo says, "It was a head code." Note her previous reference to ""as cold as a wet p**ker".

A pattern here?

Only naughty boys like you think there is a pattern in head and p**ker. I was thinking of the kind that requires Kleenex

And Vicks.

Dear WW: Guess why my first grade teacher laughed then I told her "precocious" meant a child was a brat.
