ya know, I have purposely dumbed down my posts in the past in an effort to not come across as overly pedantic and thereby scare away potential participants. but I ain't gonna constrain mysef any longer. for instance, I am henceforth gonna strew my posts with Latin and other dead languages, just 'cuz I can.

YART, faldage!
I actually haven't the foggiest notion whether that's a YART -- but maybe faldage, in defending against the YART charge, will translate!

Dear tsuwm: A wonderful idea. In looking up "crustulos" I found this:

“Sedens Johannes parvus in angulo
Hornrus edit crustula Christmica;
Et dixit, ut pruna extrahebat
Pollice, ‘Quam sum ego suavis infans!’”

Dear tsuwm: I don't know why gray space persists after I try to get rid of it using line delete. What other option have I?

hus·sy (hŭz'ç, hŭs'ç)
n., pl. -sies.
A woman considered brazen or immoral.
A saucy or impudent girl.
[Alteration of Middle English houswif, housewife. See housewife.]

Which were you refering to, hmmm? I'd say hussy is in the eye of the holder.
