Yesterday I heard a Maven on security on local TV station. One remedy suggested was to get to know your neighbors. We sure have done that here lately! I live in a smallish town and in a neighborhood where we know each other ... by sight if not personally .... The point made by the Maven was that for those who live in apartment building - people often "keep to themselves" and so residents with less-than-savory motives go unnoticed and unknown. The upshot of all this being a suggestion that if you do live in a multi-dwelling situation : get to know each other! Just get everyone to say hello. The Maven was not asking that you "love thy neighbors" just that you get to know them. Comments? LATER EDIT: Please take a look at my post in I/A under header "Articles Emails".
