Can anyone tell me what ABC stands for in that context. The OED was unhelpful, but I did learn that ABC can be a verb! The book was an alphabetical listing of train stations with times and numbers. Now we know. Thanks! I suspect we will change the reference to just "train schedule" since we are working in front of an American audience.
