When I saw the preview of the names, I expected Nelly to be nervous nelly, which is a phrase I have always heard and wonder about its origin other than the obvious alliteration. Never even heard nice nelly before.

WELCOME
I've always heard "nervous nelly" too. My grandmother used it
when we fidgeted in church.
