I found the most delightful list of oxymorons at http://www.oxymoronlist.com/ It even invites further submissions.

These are a scream, Father Steve! Here's a good one: routine surgery. HAH.

I object to the inclusion of "same difference."

What's the difference between four and six?

What's the difference between seven and nine?

Same difference!

This is all one has to do, on cold winter nights, when flooded out and snowed in, in the great Pacific Northwest.

I just got word that it has begun to snow across the state from you, Father Steve. Here is a direct quote from my response:
"AUGH! Jealous! Jealous!
We're stuck with 65º and bright sunshine, days."

And yes, I DID mean we're 'stuck' with it. 65 (18.3 C.) is too hot! Plus, it's November, for heaven's sake! It's supposed to be coat weather!

"This is Al Sleet, your hippy-dippy weatherman. Our Eagle-Eye Weather Radar shows a line of
squalls coming in over the Canadian border. Our Eagle-Eye Weather Radar also shows a line of Russian ICBM's coming in over the Canadian border, so if I were you, I wouldn't sweat the squalls...."
