Dr. Bill's post made me check for yesterday's word (above) which, to the best I can determine, I didn't get. Did everybody else?

It seems that some members haven't noticed that you can
get Today's Word before e-mail arrives by clicking on it at very bottom of this page.

Actually, it wasn't here this morning, but it _was_ this evening. It must have been lost in Tumbolia in between...

Isnt "oleagenous" a city in a song made popular by Pete Seeger fifty years ago?:

"Oh to be in Oleagenous,
That's where I'd like to be
Than be bound in Norway
And bear the chains of slavery..."

Wofa--just hoping you realized my sentence was merely a contrivance for 'your eye; Ah'.

here's spit in your eye; Ah oughtta smack you

Good one. You got me :-) And here I thought it was my cheap imitation Suthin' accent you were responding to! Must be losing my touch.

Have I told you recently about the town of Eurelia in Australia? The 10AM train pulls into the station each morning, and the conductor leans out of the front car and calls out "Yer-a-liah! Yer-a-liah!!" and the other conductor leans out of the back car and responds "Ya-really-ah! Ya-really-ah!"...

Yeah, yeah, I love you too...
