I feel so, like, wanting this book:

Evasion English by Maggie Balistreri

Here's her interview earlier this week on NPR on the various evasive uses of "like"

Or, - I feel, so like wanting this book! Take aim, Ms. Balistreri.

Would like to read it too, AnnaS. Thanks.

This sounds like an enjoyable read. I wonder how often it will make me cringe by pointing out my own foibles. ;-) I know I felt that way when I read "Class" by Paul Fussell (which is a clever piece as well, btw). Thank you for the links. I'm going to check it out.

Oh, yeah, I heard that interview like months ago, and it's still like rattling around in my head.
