As all the old threads are so long, here's a new Graduation Thread. Search on "Graduation" for hours of harmless amusement to read previous comments.

Here are the titles:
Stranger(0), Newbie(25), Journeyman(50), Member(100), Enthusiast(200), Addict(400), Old Hand (700), Veteran (1200) As of this writing, we don't know if there are any more.

Here are links to old threads:

Tsuwm. I've been over the edge for years but thank you for your kind thoughts!

[edit] Oh no - I've just looked![/edit}

Dam'! means I can't make up a joke involving "Old Hands I've loved // Beside the Shalimar."

Congratulations, Jo

"Old Hands I've loved"

Don't worry Rhuby, you'll soon be able to do it all over again.

Exac'ly how many posts have you made now AnnaS?

Posted By: AnnaStrophic Re: Graduation IV - 03/06/01 01:35 PM
Ummm... 701, counting this one.

Thank you thank you thank you. [curtsey]

As is now traditional AnnaS, I commiserate!

Treat yourself to something addictive (now you are immune) and go in search of daylight.

Congratulations, my beloved friends.

Despite my aversion to self-serving altruism, I must congratulate jo and Anna on their reaching their kilometrestones. By passing on my best wishes in a joint missive, I am heroically sacrificing half the potential for self-promotion their advancement offered me. Please send all plaudits to in private, as I am far too modest to seek public praise. Well done jo, deserve it you do, Anna!

I dunno if this is like salmon swimming to the old spawning grounds or elephants seeking graveyards, but I've come to this graduation thread to metamorphose.

And voila!

A hand to Max; enthusiastic applause to Sparteye.

Jo, what's daylight?

Jackie, I learned the trick: post onct or twict more often than y'all'd normally do.

I've come to this graduation thread to metamorphose.

Whaddayaknow, so have I! Just let me step into the transmogrifier...

transmogrifier...

Demn, but I love that word! Saying it never fails to bring a smile to my face. I guess it's true what they say about small things.

Like others before me (on this thread in fact), I have chosen to come to this spot at this particularly auspicious time in my life on this board (born only a week ago plus one day) to express my presentimental state of mind at being able to pat myself on the back, pack up my old kit bag, and move on to that exalted state of journeyman!

Ummmmm - that was fun. See ya in the soup!
