m- Got chasers?
m- A little bit.
Two friends take a leak. They ask their third friend “got chasers”? what’s that?

All three of them are high on shrooms.

what's the diffrence between
heroin chasers and heroin injectors?

Are they talking about heroin?

Well, leeks and mushrooms do make a lovely creamy autumn soup but beyond that you're out of my cultural reference base I'm afraid.

178 (44.5%) identified "chasing the dragon" as their current route of heroin use But--what is it? Smoking?

And how does "chasing the dragon" relate to having "a monkey on my back"?
There is also the lingering controversy about the song "Puff, the Magic Dragon" being a reference to marijuana use...

Thanks to F Steve for the link, but still it is not abundantly clear what a chaser or what's the difference between an injector and a chaser

It was a gunship conversion of a C-47.

Awwright--now you have me well and truly hooked! PM me if you can't post the real answer...please!

it's just a song about a boy and an imaginary friend, that's all. the name Puff just scanned well, I guess.

I have been blessed with knowing (and singing with) the three of them, and they think it's such a lark that people have jumped on the song like this.

Of course he's going to *say that. And Jerry Garcia got the nickname "Capt. Trips" because he used to pilot a tour boat on the Santa Ana River.

"Inspired by an Ogden Nash poem..", it says.
Ah, one of my favorites, Ogden Nash.

The Dinosaur,
A Beast of Yore
Doesn't live here,
Anymore.

I think that I shall never see,
A billboard lovely as a tree.
Indeed, unless the Billboards fall,
I'll never see a tree at all!!

I've never met an Abominable Snowman,
I hope to never meet one.
I hope that if I do,
That he will be a wee one.

{Thanks, all, for indulging me}

the land of "Hanah Lee" was really the Hawaiian village of Hanalei, known for its particularly potent marijuana plants;

We were in Hanalei only a fortnight ago, but all we got was ice cream.

>all we got was ice cream

that could be a big seller.. on tee-shirts.. "my parents were in Hanalei"..
