I was looking through the old games on here and found this one ultraviolet and wondered if any of you wanted to carry it on/start a new one because it looks like it could be lots of fun laugh

I guess I am slow...what are the rules or procedure??
Posted By: bexter Re: new old game - 01/06/11 10:23 PM
Well as far as I understand you choose a word such as ultraviolet and then someone else has to turn it into an acronym which sort of explains the word Used liberally to reveal any vital information obscured, light ensures truth and then they get to choose a new word
Posted By: LukeJavan8 Re: new old game - 01/06/11 10:32 PM
I'll give it a try.

I plead numbness, I don't know where these posts are from.
And how do you come up with the next word?
I had a post here, but it's disappeared.
Posted By: Jackie Re: a blast from the past - 01/08/11 03:15 AM
Well, I didn't delete or move it!
Posted By: LukeJavan8 Re: a blast from the past - 01/08/11 03:33 AM
I'm not blaming you. Did not know you had the power
or wherewithall to do it anyhow. It was up in the
page after bexters words YARDS.

It said You Are Really Doing Splendidly.

But now that I look at the thread I don't think that is the
way to play the game anyway, is it? Where does the new
word come from?
Posted By: wofahulicodoc Re: a blast from the past - 01/08/11 03:50 AM
The new, next word comes from you. Free associate. Continue a theme. Start a new theme. That's your reward for having expanded the previous target.

Recall that ideally, in some way, the expanded sentence should have something to do with the target.

"WORD - We Offer Rare Definitions."

(Well, maybe it's a far-fetched connection with the target. But it tried...)

Thanks Wofa
for the help. I get it now. I am just slow sometimes,
and hesitant, because, I suppose I fear failure. I don't
know, but am appreciative of the help you've given me
