Do I dare give the word and try to bring a hogwash to a good end?
Seven days and seven nights to send in your bright ideas?
No guarantee it won't be a total eclipse, but...
For 'new' people, no dictionaries allowed. (for 'old' people neither)
Definitions are to be send by PM to BranShea,
who is a debutant and blunt hogmaster (yes indeed where are the real ones gone?)

nisgul

yes? (or if real Hogmaster wants to take over I will just sit and watch the outcome ).

This is an English word, no? Just checking... :0)

When you say no dictionaries allowed, do you mean just the obvious, that we are not allowed to look up the meaning, or do you mean that we are not allowed to borrow real meanings of other words for our 'daffynitions'? I always thought the latter was allowable.

The obvious. No looking the word up. Using whatever resource for coming up with your own daffynition is perfectly acceptable subject to the hogmistress's approval.

Well I'm in. And I didn't use a borrowed dictionary definition this time anyway, but it's good to know I could have.

I too wondered if it was an English word!

Hey, CK:

Looks to me like one we got from rifling through the pockets of some poor defenseless foreign language that we mugged in a dark alley.

I'm in. Glad to see a new Hogwash. Need some time for my contribution.
Happy New Year to everyone!

Ladies! The SHE department so far is underrepresented in this
interesting collection. (thanks Jackie too!)
Twosleepy! It will be piece of cake to find out the real one.
(cross my heart and take the bate!)
Here are fat chances for 10 point scores and dumping the Hogmaster/mistress.

Yes.
But,
I should have written, "Will you believe it?".
Happy New Year Jackie. smile
