I was somewhat put about to find that not only was elsewhen redlined by the spellcheck on my computer (which admittedly has a disappointingly small vocabulary), but its existence was not recognised by xrefer or onelook. Surely I cannot have coined so useful a little word all by myself.

Is it in any dictionary? It's not in the online AHD, but there's a surprise ...

I've used the word meownself from time to time. I think the people who are concerned that the language cannot take care of itself would be inclined to use a phrase such as another time. The OED dates the latest citation to 1570 (the earliest to 1418).
No, I'm afraid you didn't coin it, a.m. Google Search gave over 2600 hits, and Alltheweb, over 2100. There seems to be a music group called Elsewhen. M-W online didn't have it.

Do want to point out that elsewhen was used by Heinlein and other scifi writers in dealing with time travel.

It does seem to have a connotation that another time can't touch.
