Loc: Netherlands, the Hague Reminds me of the criminal organisation Spectre in the Bond-movies. It used iterrobang methods for questioning.

Loc: Louisville, Kentucky Oh yes--I got a PM today but was surprised to find it when I got here: I did not get an e-mail notice of it as usual.

Loc: Louisville, Kentucky Well, that was weird: on a hunch, I went to my Edit Preferences page, and found that somehow my "Do you want to be notified via email when you receive a private message?" had gotten changed to "No".
Edit-- This is interesting: I have a list of back-and-forth PM's, and when I click on that it takes me to the latest one. I'll let Anu know; maybe he can find out what's causing the difference.

Loc: this too shall pass I notice something that I don't remember being mentioned here yet (and I can't be arsed to read through the entire thread again):
new messages aren't flagged as being new!
I mention this now thinking it might be helpful in debugging the originally stated problem; i.e., not going to new posts.
