Saw it when searching for the French gallimaufrey, (2 LL's ).
The 'galli' got something to do with gallisisms ?
'maufrey' = wrongly baked? A miscooked gallisism? Mélange or hotchpotch.

Loc: Louisville, Kentucky I went to Squidoo in a completely different context this afternoon. I got an e-mail inviting me to be a "mystery shopper". I decided to try looking up the company making this offer, and a search led me to the site. Surprise: it's a scam.
