Sorry to break into your celebration, but have any of you stopped to think about the name of this 2000th person? In wow's post the name is in lowercase as satin, easily disguised as cloth, but we fail to realize that if the first letter is put in the upper case we get Satin. Is there some ominous message in this? What kind of harbinger hath descended on us? Is some Evil going to come upon us in the coming months? Did someone intentionally plant that name there? Was it one of us? Is the name actually intended to mean a type of fabric? What is your favorite type of fabric? Am I asking useless questions?

In other words, we know you can take it! Now as to evil coming to befall us--I rather doubt it. The word satin has come to be closely associated with the word smooth, so I rather expect our 2000th subscriber to be a smooth operator! Did you all know that the colorful shirts that jockeys wear are called silks?

I guess discvovering that I appear to be the only ayleur Anu chooses not to reply to has merely accelerated the greying process, which started a decade or so ago, at the ripe old age of 23.
