Loc: Louisville, Kentucky zmjezhd's mention of Wikipedia in another thread reminded me of this: Citizendium.
Here's the topic: When you're a cofounder of Wikipedia, what do you do for an encore? If you're Larry Sanger, the answer is simple: you build another Wikipedia. A better one.
I presume most of you have heard about it. It is now up, in beta version. Here's the link, if anyone wants to get in on the ground floor, so to speak:
Citizendium beta.
Disclaimer: I am not advocating Citizendium; just proffering news, since it hasn't been mentioned here.

Loc: Switzerland The article leaves me somewhat sceptical: I wonder if an axe to grind is a fertile starting point for an alternative project.
And Widespread anonymity has a problem—it's attractive to people who want to cause trouble, undermine the project, or simply troll
is certainly true, but endemic to the Internet as such, due to its fundamental structure, with all its ambivalent potential.

Again let me not preach to the choir, but "ensconce" is a Type-3 for which 2 is "situate" and 1 "put"_________________________
